Job Description
A reputed hospital in Palakkad is hiring experienced Critical Care Specialists / Intensivists for its multidisciplinary ICU. The doctor will oversee management of critically ill patients, coordinate care among specialists, and ensure ICU protocols and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator and non-ventilator cases in the ICU with precision and care.
- Coordinate with emergency, pulmonology, cardiology, and anesthesia departments.
- Lead ICU rounds and maintain patient documentation and handovers.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sepsis management protocols.
- Mentor residents and nursing staff in critical care procedures.
Skills & Attributes
- Proficient in airway management and advanced ventilatory support.
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and critical care procedures.
- Good communication and leadership qualities.
- Ability to manage high-stress emergency environments efficiently.
