Job Summary:
We have a Medical College in Firozabad is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as an Emergency Medicine Associate Professor.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing the academic and clinical missions of the college through teaching, research, and service. As an Associate Professor,
the candidate will have the opportunity to educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as contribute to scholarly activities and the overall development of the
Emergency Medicine department.
Responsibilities:
Teaching and Education:
Deliver high-quality didactic and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows in emergency medicine.
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including simulation-based education and case-based learning, to enhance student learning and engagement.
Participate in the development and evaluation of the emergency medicine curriculum, ensuring its alignment with the college's educational goals and standards.
Research and Scholarly Activities:
Conduct independent research in the field of emergency medicine, with a focus on advancing knowledge and improving patient care.
Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
Collaborate with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams on research projects, fostering a culture of scholarship within the department.
Clinical Practice:
Provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the emergency department, demonstrating expertise in emergency medicine practices and evidence-based medicine.
Supervise and mentor residents and medical students during clinical rotations, ensuring their acquisition of necessary skills and competencies.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental committees to enhance patient care and safety.
Service and Leadership:
Engage in academic and administrative activities, including serving on committees, participating in faculty development programs, and contributing to accreditation processes.
Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and revise policies, protocols, and guidelines related to emergency medicine.
Actively participate in professional organizations and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in emergency medicine.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DnB) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Eligibility for medical licensure in the state where the college is located.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and education, with experience in medical student and resident/fellow education preferred.
Track record of scholarly achievements, including publications and research grants.
Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
