Job Overview
A medical college in Chandigarh is seeking qualified Forensic Medicine faculty to teach medicolegal subjects to MBBS students and assist in medicolegal autopsies and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach forensic medicine and toxicology to MBBS students.
- Conduct and supervise medicolegal autopsies.
- Prepare medicolegal reports and appear in courts as expert witness.
- Teach injury description, wound ballistics, and identification methods.
- Guide student research in forensic medicine and toxicology.
- Maintain mortuary and post-mortem facilities as per guidelines.
- Conduct seminars and workshops on medicolegal topics.
- Contribute to departmental and college academic activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS with MD Forensic Medicine / Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
- Valid NMC registration.
