Job Overview

A leading multispeciality hospital in Chandigarh is seeking an experienced Cardiologist to lead its Cardiology department. The candidate will manage complex cardiac cases, perform interventional procedures, and guide the cardiac care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
• Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
• Conduct cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography, and angioplasty (PTCA/stenting).
• Manage ICCU patients on inotropes, vasopressors, and post-cardiac arrest care.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery for valve surgery and CABG cases.
• Conduct outpatient cardiology clinics and follow-up consultations.
• Train junior doctors and nursing staff in cardiac life support.
• Publish and present cardiac research at national/international forums.

Qualifications & Experience

• DM Cardiology / DNB Cardiology.
• Valid NMC registration.
• Interventional cardiology experience highly preferred.
• MBBS with MD Medicine and fellowship in cardiology also considered.

Key Skills Required

• Coronary angiography and PTCA

• Device implantation (pacemakers)
