Job Overview

A super-speciality hospital in Rourkela is seeking a qualified Urologist to manage the Urology department, perform endoscopic and laparoscopic urological surgeries, and run the renal transplant programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform urological surgeries: PCNL, URSL, TURP, radical nephrectomy, and cystoscopy.
• Manage urological conditions: BPH, kidney stones, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, renal cysts.
• Conduct laparoscopic and robotic urological procedures.
• Manage urological emergencies: renal colic, urinary retention, urosepsis.
• Oversee renal transplant (donor and recipient surgery and follow-up).
• Run urology OPD and andrology clinic.
• Train residents in basic urological procedures.
• Publish urological research and case reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• MCh / DNB Urology.
• MS General Surgery with fellowship in Urology.
• Valid NMC registration.
