Job Overview

A super-speciality hospital in Pune is seeking a DM/DNB Gastroenterologist to lead its GI department, perform advanced endoscopic procedures, and manage complex liver and GI diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders: IBD, GERD, peptic ulcer, IBS, and GI cancers.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Manage liver diseases: cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, NAFLD, and acute liver failure.
• Conduct interventional hepatology: liver biopsy, ascites drainage.
• Collaborate with hepatobiliary surgeons and radiologists for complex GI conditions.
• Run outpatient GI and hepatology clinics.
• Train residents in endoscopy techniques and GI case management.
• Publish research in GI/hepatology journals.

Qualifications & Experience

• DM / DNB Gastroenterology.
• MD Internal Medicine with fellowship in GI preferred.
• Valid NMC registration.
