Job Overview

A super-speciality hospital in Pune is looking for a DM/DNB Rheumatologist to manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases and run the Rheumatology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, spondyloarthropathy, vasculitis, and gout.
• Initiate and monitor disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biological therapies.
• Perform joint aspiration/injection, synovial biopsy, and arthrocentesis.
• Manage connective tissue diseases with organ involvement (renal, pulmonary, cardiac).
• Run rheumatology outpatient clinics and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with nephrology, pulmonology, and dermatology for systemic autoimmune diseases.
• Train medicine residents in rheumatological assessment.
• Publish clinical research and case reports in rheumatology journals.

Qualifications & Experience

• DM / DNB Rheumatology.
• MD Internal Medicine with fellowship in Rheumatology.
• Valid NMC registration.
