Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Teach microbiology to MBBS, BDS, nursing, and allied health students.
• Supervise the diagnostic microbiology laboratory and its quality systems.
• Monitor antimicrobial resistance patterns and guide antibiotic stewardship.
• Conduct and publish research in infection control and microbiology.
• Participate in hospital infection control committee activities.
• Maintain laboratory safety and biohazard protocols.
• Guide PG students in research and thesis work.
• Contribute to NAAC/NMC departmental accreditation processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with MD Microbiology.
• Valid NMC registration.
• Experience in NABH-accredited lab preferred.
