Job Overview

A cancer care centre in Jabalpur is recruiting a Medical Oncologist to manage solid tumours and haematological malignancies, administer chemotherapy, and coordinate multi-disciplinary cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage cancers of breast, lung, GI, gynaecological, and head-and-neck origin.
• Prescribe, administer, and supervise chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary tumour board meetings with surgical oncology and radiation oncology.
• Manage complications of cancer treatment: neutropenic fever, toxicity, and mucositis.
• Provide palliative and supportive cancer care.
• Conduct outpatient oncology clinics and follow-up for cancer survivors.
• Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Participate in clinical trials and publish oncology research.

Qualifications & Experience

• DM / DNB Medical Oncology.
• MD Internal Medicine with fellowship in Oncology.
• Valid NMC registration.
