Job Overview

A multispeciality hospital in Jabalpur requires a Casualty Medical Officer to provide 24×7 emergency care. The role involves triaging, stabilising, and transferring patients in the emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and triage all emergency patients on arrival.
• Provide immediate life support for cardiac, respiratory, and trauma emergencies.
• Perform basic emergency procedures: IV access, airway management, defibrillation.
• Coordinate with surgical, medical, and ICU teams for admissions.
• Order and review urgent lab and imaging investigations.
• Maintain accurate casualty records and medico-legal documentation.
• Ensure crash cart is stocked and operational at all times.
• Handle ambulance triage and disaster/mass casualty protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with valid NMC registration.
• MD Emergency Medicine or MEM certificate preferred.
• ACLS/BLS mandatory.
