Job Overview

A premier cardiac hospital in Jabalpur is recruiting a Cardiac Anaesthesiologist to manage anaesthesia for open heart surgeries, valve replacements, CABG, and complex cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthesia for cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and congenital heart surgeries.
• Manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) in coordination with perfusionists.
• Conduct transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE) intra-operatively.
• Monitor and manage haemodynamics in cardiac intensive care units.
• Provide post-operative cardiac ICU care.
• Handle complex cases of cardiac failure, tamponade, and ECMO.
• Teach junior residents and participate in morbidity-mortality conferences.
• Maintain anaesthesia records and quality improvement data.

Qualifications & Experience

• MD Anaesthesiology with fellowship/training in Cardiac Anaesthesia.
• DNB Anaesthesiology with cardiac surgical experience.
• Valid NMC registration and BLS/ACLS/ATLS certification.
