Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for urological disorders including kidney stones, prostate disease and urinary tract problems.
• Perform endoscopic, laparoscopic and open urological surgeries as per clinical requirement.
• Independently manage OPD, IPD and emergency urology cases with evidence-based protocols.
• Work closely with nephrology, oncology, radiology, anaesthesia and ICU teams for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records, ensure patient safety and follow hospital infection control policies.
• Participate in on-call duties, ward rounds and clinical meetings as per hospital duty rota.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• MCh / DNB in Urology from a recognized medical college or teaching institution.
• Valid registration with State Medical Council / National Medical Commission.
• 0–22 years of post-qualification experience; freshers with strong surgical exposure will be considered.
• Good operative skills in endourology and basic laparoscopic urology; exposure to uro-oncology is an added advantage.
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication skills and team-oriented approach; Malayalam-speaking preferred.
