Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and disorders, including conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. Perform endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Manage patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory results, to guide patient care. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide patient education and counseling on lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, and disease management. Stay up-to-date with advancements in gastroenterology through continuous medical education and research. Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (DM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Completion of residency in Internal Medicine.
Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in gastroenterology.
Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
