Job Overview

A super-speciality hospital in Kodungallur is looking for an experienced Cardiac Surgeon (CTVS) to perform CABG, valve surgeries, congenital corrections, and aortic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CABG (on-pump and off-pump), valve repair and replacement surgeries.
• Operate on congenital heart defects including ASD, VSD, Tetralogy of Fallot.
• Manage thoracic surgeries including lung resections and oesophageal procedures.
• Oversee cardiac ICU management post-operatively.
• Collaborate with cardiologists for case selection and cath lab interventions.
• Conduct outpatient surgical consultations and pre-operative workup.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary cardiac team meetings.
• Train junior surgeons and residents in cardiac surgical techniques.

Qualifications & Experience

• MCh CTVS / DNB CTVS.
• MBBS with MS General Surgery and Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery.
• Valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 3 years cardiac surgical experience preferred.
