We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our esteemed institution as a Professor in Radiology. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in teaching, research, and clinical service in the Department of Radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Academics:
Design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive radiology curriculum for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS/DM) students.
Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and demonstrations to enhance students' theoretical and clinical knowledge.
Supervise and mentor postgraduate students in thesis preparation and clinical case studies.
Actively participate in internal and external academic events, workshops, and seminars.
Research & Development:
Lead and collaborate in research projects, securing grants and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Promote innovation in diagnostic imaging and contribute to advancements in radiological sciences.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide expert radiological services, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Train medical students and residents in diagnostic techniques, image interpretation, and interventional procedures.
Collaborate with other departments for multidisciplinary patient management.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental administration, including faculty development and curriculum planning.
Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and accreditation processes.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential:
MBBS degree with MD/MS in Radiology or equivalent qualification recognized by the NMC.
Minimum of 4–8 years of teaching and clinical experience post-MD/MS as per NMC norms.
Proven track record of academic excellence and research contributions.
Desirable:
Experience in advanced diagnostic modalities and interventional radiology.
Publications in indexed national/international journals.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
