Job Summary:


Academic and Teaching Duties Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/DNB) medical students. Prepare and update course material, including study guides, syllabi, and examination questions. Supervise student research, dissertations, and case studies.

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care in emergency and trauma cases. Actively participate in the operation and management of the emergency department, ensuring high standards of care. Mentor and train junior doctors, interns, and residents in emergency procedures and protocols.

Research and Publications
Engage in scholarly research, focusing on innovations and advancements in emergency medicine. Publish articles in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences. Collaborate on research projects with other departments and institutions.

Administrative Roles
Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development activities. Assist in the planning and execution of academic programs and events. Contribute to the accreditation process and quality assurance initiatives for the department.

Community Engagement
Conduct community outreach programs, including health awareness camps and training in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC).

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution. Evidence of research publications as per NMC guidelines.

Skills and Competencies
Expertise in emergency medical care, trauma management, and disaster response. Strong teaching, mentorship, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, patients, and colleagues. Ability to conduct and supervise academic research. Familiarity with the latest advancements and protocols in emergency medicine.
