Job Description:
The Medical College in Palakkad, Kerala is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Cardiac Anesthesia Professor. As a Cardiac Anesthesia Professor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Cardiac Anesthesia to medical students, conducting research, and contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the institution. Key Responsibilities:
Teaching: Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in Cardiac Anesthesia to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Develop course materials, assessments, and practical demonstrations to enhance student learning outcomes.
Research: Engage in independent and collaborative research activities in the field of Cardiac Anesthesia. Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through publication in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at conferences, and securing research grants.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students pursuing research projects, internships, and academic endeavors in Cardiac Anesthesia. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success.
Curriculum Development: Participate in the review and development of the Cardiac Anesthesia curriculum to ensure alignment with educational standards, emerging trends, and advancements in the field. Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications:
MD in Cardiac Anesthesia or related field from a recognized institution.
Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, preferably in a medical college or healthcare-related institution.
Demonstrated expertise in conducting independent research, as evidenced by a strong publication record and research grants.
