Job Overview

A super-speciality hospital in Ramgarh is seeking an experienced Nephrologist to lead the Nephrology unit, manage kidney disease patients, oversee dialysis services, and support the renal transplant programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and glomerulonephritis.
• Manage haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal replacement therapy programmes.
• Perform kidney biopsies and interpret renal histopathology.
• Manage hypertension with renal involvement and diabetic nephropathy.
• Support renal transplant programme (pre, intra, and post-transplant care).
• Run nephrology outpatient clinics and follow-up for dialysis patients.
• Train residents and dialysis nursing staff.
• Publish and present research in renal journals.

Qualifications & Experience

• DM / DNB Nephrology.
• MD Internal Medicine with fellowship in Nephrology also considered.
• Valid NMC registration.
