Neurosurgery Consultant Jobs in New Delhi

Job Overview

A leading hospital in New Delhi is looking for a qualified Neurosurgeon (MCh) to perform brain and spine surgeries, manage neurosurgical emergencies, and lead the neurosurgery department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cranial surgeries: tumour resections, aneurysm clipping, craniotomy, decompressive craniectomy.
• Manage spinal surgeries: discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, and cord decompression.
• Handle neurosurgical emergencies: traumatic brain injury, subdural/epidural haematoma, subarachnoid haemorrhage.
• Collaborate with neurologists for combined neuro care.
• Perform functional neurosurgery and neuroendoscopy procedures.
• Manage post-operative neurosurgical ICU patients.
• Train junior residents in neurosurgical skills.
• Participate in tumour boards and multi-disciplinary neurology meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• MCh Neurosurgery / DNB Neurosurgery.
• MBBS with MS General Surgery and fellowship in Neurosurgery.
• Valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 3 years neurosurgical experience preferred.
